The adverse weather which has struck Donegal this St. Patrick’s Day has forced one town parade to be cancelled.

Organisers in Creeslough have decided to call off the parade, and have apologised for any inconvenience caused.

Heavy rain and strong winds have been forecast for across the county today. A Status Yellow rain warning is in place by MET Eireann until Sunday morning. The public is being advised to wrap up well for the weather as they attend festivities across Donegal.
