After weeks and even months of rehearsals, groups will be taking to streets across Donegal to perform in front of their communities.

Here is a list of the St. Patrick’s Day parade times across the county from Donegal Gathering. (Glenties held their parade at midnight last night, which was said to be a great late-night party)

  • Burtonport : 12noon – 2pm

  • Mevagh : 1pm

  • Ballyshannon : 2pm

  • Bunbeg : 2.30pm

  • Buncrana, Inishowen : 2.30pm

  • Moville, Inishowen : 2.30pm

  • Dungloe : 3pm

  • Killybegs : 3pm

  • Letterkenny : 3pm

  • Ballybofey & Stranorlar : 3pm

  • Donegal Town : 3pm

  • Bundoran : 3.30pm

  • Falcarragh : 4pm

  • Glencolmcille : 4pm

Met Eireann are forecasting heavy rain and blustery winds in places today so the public are warned  to dress appropriately for the weather. A Status Yellow warning is in place from Friday to Sunday morning as heavy rain is expected to accumulate in areas around Donegal.
