Emergency services attend incident on Buncrana beach

A number of emergency services attended an incident on Lisfannon Beach outside Buncrana last night.

Locals feared a major incident was taking place after a large amount of sirens from response vehicles were spotted on the beach around 10pm.

Gardai have confirmed they attended the scene and a woman did later receive treatment.

However, no further comment is being on the situation today.
