The AA are urging drivers to be cautious as they issue a warning that road conditions are wet around Letterkenny.

This follows a single vehicle collision on the main Ramelton to Letterkenny road which took place at 5:30am. The male driver has been brought to Letterkenny University Hospital in serious condition, with the three other people in the car sustaining non life threatening injuries.

Diversions are currently in place, with Gardaí closing the Thorn Road junction of the Letterkenny to Ramelton road.
