Funeral of young Donegal man Bryan Sweeney to be held tomorrow

The funeral service of a young Donegal man who was the subject of a search last Sunday will be held tomorrow, Wednesday 5th July.

The sudden death of Bryan Sweeney of Derryconnor, Gortahork was announced on Sunday evening.

A large-scale search was launched on Sunday morning after he was declared missing by family.

Bryan is survived by his father James, sister Graceanne, brother Seamus, brother-in-law Wesley, nieces, nephew, aunts, uncle and wide circle of family and friends.

The wake is being held at his father James’ residence in Derryconnor. Funeral from there on Wednesday, the 5th July, for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Christ the King Church, Gortahork with burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery. Rosary both nights at 10.00pm.
