Donegal Death Notices – Rest in Peace

Donegal death notices for today, Wednesday, September 6.

 

Ann SHEEHY (née McMenamin)
The death has occurred of Ann Sheehy (née McMenamin), Knockane Road, Newcastle West, Limerick, late of Fintown, Co Donegal, peacefully at Beechwood House Nursing Home, Newcastlewest. Wife of the late John, survived by daughter Siobhán, brother Eugene, sister-in-law Kathleen, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

Reposing at Riedy’s Funeral Home, Newcastlewest on Friday 8th September from 6pm until 8pm. Arriving at Newcastlewest Church at 8.30pm. Requiem Mass Saturday at 10am with burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to the Brothers of Charity.

 

Mary A SWEENEY
The death has occurred in Letterkenny University Hospital of Mary A Sweeney of Magheroarty, Gortahork. Survived by her four sons, five daughters, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Removal took place yesterday from Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Letterkenny at 3.00pm going to her late residence. Funeral from there on Thursday the 7th to Christ the King Church, Gortahork for 11.00am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery. Rosary both nights at 10.00pm house private after rosary till 10.00am and on the morning of the funeral. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to the Blind Society care of any family member or Gallagher Funeral Director, Gortahork.

 

Michael MC CONIGLEY
The death has occurred of Michael Mc Conigley, Rosskirk, Fanad, Donegal. Deeply regretted by his beloved wife Brid, sons Michael (London), James (Tullamore), John (Cahir), Pat (Kilmacrennan), Liam (Murlog), daughters Margaret O Donoghue (Clonmel), Ann Sweeney (Fanad), Maureen (Murlog), Martina Chodziesner (Melbourne), Noreen Mc Gettigan (Kilmacrennan), brothers Donal and Tommy, sons-in-law, grandchildren, nephews and nieces and all his extended family and friends.

Removal from Aras Uì Dhonaill took place yesterday going to his late residence. Leaving his home on Thursday at 2.40pm for Requiem Mass at 3pm in St. Patrick’s Church, Ballinacrick. Burial afterwards in Fanavolty Graveyard.
House private from 12 noon on day of the funeral.
