Donegal Death Notices – Rest in Peace

Donegal death notices for today, Saturday, September 9.

 

Kate KELLY
The death has occurred of Kate Kelly, Drumaville, Lecamey, Moville, Co. Donegal. Beloved wife of the Late Packie, loving mother of Mary, Sarah, Kathleen, Bernadette, Anne-Marie and Michael. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all the family circle and friends.

Funeral Mass on Sunday 10th September 2017 at 11am in St. Mary’s Church, Bocan, Culdaff, with burial in adjoining cemetery.

 

Derek William SALES
The death has occurred of Derek William Sales, Corefrin, Ballybofey, peacefully at the Donegal Hospice, Knocknamona, Letterkenny, after a short illness. Beloved partner of Linda and much loved father of Darren and Mandy, dearly loved brother of Graham, Heather, Jan, Lynda and Karen, loving grandfather of Joshua. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his partner, son, daughters, brother, sisters, grandson, extended family circle and friends.

Remains reposing at his home on Sunday Sept 10th from 5 pm until 9pm. Funeral leaving his home on Monday Sept 11th at 11.15 am for Cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 2 pm. The house is private please, neighbours and friends are welcome.

 

Denis Patrick O’NEILL
The sudden death has occurred at his home of Denis Patrick O’Neill, Knockfair, Stranorlar. Beloved husband of Kathleen and much loved father of Mary, Denise, Edel, Shauna, Aidan and Dermot. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, extended family and friends.

His remains have been reposing at his home since yesterday evening. Funeral leaving his home on Sunday Sept 10th at 10.15 am for requiem Mass at 11 am in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar, with interment afterwards in Drumboe Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers please, if so desired, to the Patients Comfort Fund, St. Joseph’s Hospital, care of any family member. Family time from 11 pm to 10 am and on the morning of the funeral.

 

James (Jimmy) MCGROARY
The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) McGroary, 1 St. Mary’s Road, Buncrana, Donegal.

Reposing at his residence since yesterday evening. Removal at 10.15am on Sunday, September 10th, to St. Mary’s Church, Cockhill for 11am Requiem Mass followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family time please from 10pm to 11am.
