Donegal Death Notices – Rest in Peace

Donegal death notices for today, Sunday, September 17.

 

Patrick O’DONNELL
The death has occurred of Patrick O’Donnell, Glen Road, Annagry, at Letterkenny University Hospital. Formerly of Oughmeen, Meentotten.

Reposing at his home in the Glen, Annagry. Funeral Mass on Monday at 11am in the Star of the Sea Church Annagry with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Rosary both nights at 9pm. House private please from 11pm until 10am and on the morning of the funeral. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Dungloe Hospital Patients Comfort Fund c/o any family member or Sean McGlynn Funeral Director, Dungloe.

 

James DORAN
The death has occurred of James Doran, 24 Muckish Avenue, Letterkenny, at Letterkenny University Hospital. Reposing at his son Gerry’s home, 16 Slieve Snacht Close, Letterkenny, since yesterday evening. Funeral Mass on Monday at 10am in St Eunan’s Cathedral. Interment afterwards to Conwal Cemetery.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Kidney Dialisis Unit, Letterkenny University Hospital c/o any family member or Con McDaid and Sons Funeral Directors, Letterkenny.

 

Peter DEVENNEY
The death has occurred of Peter Devenney, Brookville Park, Drogheda and formerly of Rannafast, Donegal, on the 15th September 2017, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Peter, beloved husband of the late Clare and father of the late Sean and Christopher. Deeply regretted by his loving son Frank, daughter Eileen, grandchildren Mandy, Kirsten, Cara, Nicky and Gráinne, great-grandchildren Hannah, Joseph, Neve and Myles, sister Nora, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home from 3 o’clock until 9 ‘clock today, Sunday. Removal on Monday morning at 10.30 am to Our Lady of Lourdes Church arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.00 o’clock. Burial afterwards in St. Peter’s Cemetery. House private on Monday morning.

 

Elizabeth (Betty) MOODY (MC CLINTOCK) (née Mc Clean)
The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Betty) Moody (Mc Clintock) (née Mc Clean), Ardagh Upper, St Johnston, Donegal.

Reposing at her late home, Ardagh Upper, St Johnston until removal today, Sunday, at 2pm for Service St. Johnston Presbyterian Church at 2.30pm, followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to St Johnston Presbyterian Church Repair Fund, c/o any family member or the church committee.

 

Patsy MCGOLDRICK
The death has occurred of Patsy McGoldrick, Glasbolie, Ballintra, at The Donegal Community Hospital.

Reposing at his residence today, Sunday from 1pm until 10pm. Removal on Monday morning to St Brigid’s Church, Ballintra, for funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to The Donegal Community Hospital. House private on Monday morning, please.
