Glenfin captain Shaun Foy says his side had to ‘raise our game’ to get past Milford and win the Intermediate B Championship title this afternoon.

Glenfin defeated Milford 0-12 to 0-8 in the final at O’Donnell Park after the teams had been level at half-time.

“Our backs were against the wall,” Foy said of the second half.

“We came out and were under serious pressure, but we got a few scores in the second half. We took the breaks when we got them.

“It was really tight. We had to raise our game and we did.

“We’re over the moon. It’s great to get over the line and it’s a great day for us.”
