Naomh Colmcille have paid tribute to the clubs and grounds committees who have aided their preparation for this weekend’s All-Ireland JFC quarter-final.

The Donegal and Ulster junior kingpins travel to Edinburgh on Saturday to face Dunedin Connollys in the quarter-final.

Following their memorable win over Belnaleck at Celtic Park, preparations began in earnest for this weekend’s voyage.

Ryan McKinley’s team head for Scotland on Thursday afternoon ahead of their big showdown.

The club has extended thanks to Sean MacCumhaills, Buncrana, Derry GAA and, especially, to the Robert Emmets club for making their facilities available.

“These people have really helped us to prepare for the big games in the last few weeks,” said Naomh Colmcille Chairperson Darina Friel.

“We really appreciate the help and support we have received from these clubs and the people in the clubs.

“We’re aiming to do Donegal and Ulster proud this weekend.”
