Donegal had a big year in 2017 as the Coolest Place in the world, with many photographers and videographers showcasing all the hidden gems of the county in impressive ways.
Each season in Donegal brings something unique to the landscape, and one video has taken in all the sights for us to enjoy.
Proinsias Carr of Aerial Views Donegal created a showreel of his best work from the year and the result is a tour of the county that will impress anyone at home or away.
From a snow-capped Errigal to the stunning Murder Hole Beach, the video sweeps high and low through Donegal and its coastline. Viewers will virtually travel over locations including Arranmore Island, Ramelton, Downings, Fanad Head, Harry Blaney Bridge, Sheephaven Bay and Doe Castle.
Proinsias said the video is about “showcasing the beauty we have here in Donegal and everything it has to offer. It really is the coolest place!”
This video is sure to inspire your next adventure in Donegal. See it here:
Here's a little showreel of some of my favourite clips taken throughout the year – featuring Dunlewey, Mount Errigal, Murder Hole Beach, Ramelton, Downings, Arranmore and many more places – best watched in full screen with sound. I'm hoping 2018 brings us a little more sunshine! Happy new year to you all! PC
