Letterkenny hospital has third highest number of patients awaiting beds

Letterkenny University Hospital has the third highest number of patients awaiting a bed in the country today.

A total of 36 people are awaiting to get a bed with 13 of those now on emergency trolleys.

This is an increase of 50% compared to yesterday’s figure of 24 at the Donegal hospital.

The INTO has said a total of 541 are awaiting beds around the country with the highest number o Cork with 41 patients.
