Sommer Lecky equals her own Irish Junior record for win in Belgium

Finn Valley AC’s Commonwealth Games-bound Sommer Lecky equalled her Irish junior high jump record in Belgium this evening.

Lecky jumped 1.86 metres to win gold aye the IFAM indoor meeting in the Belgian city of Ghent.

The leap equalled the 1.86m set by Lecky last month when she won the Scottish senior women’s title..

Lecky will take part in the Commonwealth Games this April in Australia.

After successfully getting over at 1.86m, Lecky had three unsuccessful attempts at the 1.89m mark.
