Boost for Donegal International Rally as Joule remain as sponsors

The Donegal International Rally has been handed a significant shot in the arm with news that Joule Energy Systems are to remain as the main sponsor.

The 2018 Joule Donegal International Rally will take place from June 15-17 next.

Joule Energy Systems now in their fourth year as title sponsors are pleased to be at the forefront of the Biggest Rally in Ireland. CEO of the Company, Ian Barrett, is delighted to be back on board backing the event and no doubt Ian will be bringing his fabulous Fiesta WRC to compete on the event which takes place over the weekend of 15th to 17th of June.

Speaking this week Donegal Motor Club Chairman, Brian Brogan, said “It’s great to have Joule on board again for 2018, their support of the event is very much appreciated and we look forward to working with Ian and his team in making the event yet another special occasion “.

Clerk Of the Course Eamon McGee also commented “I would like to thank Joule for their continued support of the event, we aim to make the 2018 Joule Donegal International bigger and better than ever”.

With plans well under way for the June spectacle its sure to be yet another great event, with entries over the last few years well over subscribed early interest has already came in from crews from Sweden, China, Australia, Germany and the UK. This just shows the magnitude of the Joule Donegal International Rally.

Also announced this week is that, The Pulse Nightclub in Letterkenny a business well known to the Rallying Community will come on board as an associate sponsor of the Donegal International Rally. Proprietor Mark Crossan has pledged his support to the Donegal Motor Club and they will run a Rally Party night on Good Friday 30th March in the Pulse Night Club Letterkenny.

Headline acts on the night will be Hit the Diff Star Marty Moane ,The Whistlin Donkeys and Local Country Star David Craig .All monies on the night will go the Donegal Motor Club Support fund.

Mark said “We have had a long association with the Rally and we are glad to be on board to help the Club as a sponsor and be part of yet another super Rally “.

Club Chairman Brian Brogan said: “We would like to thank Mark and all at the Pulse for their support. This kind of help from local businesses will make it another great year in Donegal. I would urge for as much support for this special Night on Good Friday”.

More details of the Joule Donegal International Rally and the Pulse Good Friday Party Night are now available on www.donegalmotorclub.com and the www.pulsevenue.ie.
