Martin Harley saddles latest winner to beat off some familiar faces

Martin Harley saddled his 17th winner of 2018 at Kempton Park yesterday evening.

The Trentagh man guided Cosmeapolitan to victory in the 32Red.com Handicap over one mile and four furlongs.

Cosmeapolitan was sent off at odds 9/2  and won by three-quarters of a length from Kelly’s Dino, the 3/1 favourite.

The Alan King-trained Cosmeapolitan chased the leaders a furlong out and soon hit the front under a professional ride by Harley.

Interestingly, the horses that finished second, third (Koeman) and fourth (Al Hamdany) are all trained by men – namely Karl Burke, Mick Channon and Marco Botti – that Harley has ridden, and won for.
