Martin Harley on the double for Dascombe at Wolverhampton

Martin Harley rode two winners for trainer Tom Dascombe at Wolverhampton in recent days.

Harley had a 12/1 win on Fire Diamond on Saturday before saddling up the 3/1 shot Doctor Sardonicus yesterday evening.

Fire Diamond came up trumps by a short head from the 11/2 Sayesse, ridden by Andrea Atzeni.

Fire Diamond had been held up, but over the final furlong managed to get ahead and, just about, stayed on to win the FCL Glove Forwarding Making Logistics Personal Handicap over seven furlongs.

Yesterday, Harley and Doctor Sardonicus won by two lengths from 2/1 favourite Double Up, with Atzeni in the saddle.

Harley was in command for the most part of the five furlongs for a comfortable win to take the Trentagh man onto 30 wins in 2018.
