Job Vacancy: Business Development Administrator (Part-Time)

Job Vacancy: A fast paced Food Manufacturing Company in Donegal is seeking a motivated and driven B2B/Food Service sales representative to source new potential clients and grow the client base through the introduction of new products and new clients.

The Role

  • Proactively look for new business opportunities and search for new leads through cold calling
  • Grow our customer base, Upsell our products to new and existing clients.
  • Plan sales activity to maximise performance, taking into consideration area profile and given time frames.
  • Renewing contracts with existing client base.
  • Achieve, develop and manage all new business development targets and objectives
  • Identify, track and secure new sales opportunities
  • Maintain strong awareness of competitors and market intelligence
  • Conform to company sales guidelines
  • Meet required KPI’s
  • Share best practice and foster productive relationships across food and dairy business sectors
  • Make recommendations for personal and team development

Requirements

  • Proven track record of Sales in B2B or Food Service environment (2+ years)
  • B2B Sales/Proven track record in cold calling – ESSENTIAL
  • Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with clients.
  • Ability to work at your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Able to build relationships
  • Able to demonstrate a positive impact in thinking and acting strategically
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Results-orientated, able to execute and get things done
  • Sound understanding of the Dairy/Food  business environment and good commercial acumen
  • Strong computer skills are essential
  • Knowledge of social media and marketing is a bonus but not essential
