Garda investigating the death of a 55-year-old year old man in Co Donegal have appealed to motorists with dash cams to come forward.

Father-of-two Francie Browne died after his jeep was in collision with a Mazda 3 car at Listillion outside Letterkenny on Thursday, September 6th.

A 22-year old man has since been charged with dangerous driving causing his death and will appear at a future sitting of the courts.

Gardaí are renewing their appeal for witnesses following the fatal road crash which happened at 7.45pm.

Investigating Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or any drivers/taxi drivers who may have witnessed the collision or either of the cars prior to the fatal crash.

They particularly want to hear from those with ‘Dash Cam’ footage who were on the Letterkenny to Stranorlar Road between 7pm and 8pm on Thursday evening to contact Letterkenny Garda Station at 074-9167100, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

Mr Browne, who was a farmer, was buried on Wednesday.
