A man has been charged with 106 counts of sexual and indecent assault.
The man did not appear at Letterkenny District Court as his solicitor, Mr Gordan Curley, said he was attending hospital.
State solicitor Mr Ciaran Liddy told the court that there was a substantial number of charges.
The cases was adjourned until November 5th next.
Judge Paul Kelly also directed a publication order which means the name of the accused or his alleged victims cannot be printed at this stage.
