Up to 600 young athletes are taking part in the Donegal Primary Schools Cross Country Championships this Thursday (18th Oct).

The event will be hosted by Inishowen AC. The races will be held on the Shore Front in Buncrana.

The Championships were held in Buncrana last year and it was a resounding success. Schools from all over Donegal attended and Inishowen AC are expecting an even larger attendance this year. With nearly 600 students taking part and representing the schools from around the county.

Clubs from all over the county hosted their own qualifying events in the last number of weeks and now the qualifying athletes will compete in Buncrana this Thursday in what promises to be a great day’s fun for all involved. First race starts at 11am.
