Declan Boyle hailed his Finn Harps U17s after a 3-0 win over Shamrock Rovers in today’s League final at Maginn Park.
Joel Bradley-Walsh, Gabriel Aduaka and Conor Black hit the goals as Harps sealed the win to clinch a historic League and Cup double, following their winning of the Mark Farren Cup earlier in the campaign.
“We’re delighted,” said former Harps captain Boyle
“It was a great performance. They produced the goods. The quality of the goals and the quality of the performance…I’m so proud of all of the players.
“It couldn’t have went any better. We worked hard all year. We worked twice or three times a week and we got the rewards. It’s been a long, hard season, but we have the rewards now.”
