Convoy Arsenal man Conor Rodgers is this week’s Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub Sports Person of the Week, in association with O’Reilly’s.
Rodgers polled 418 votes, 30 per cent of the 1,405 votes cast this week.
Rodgers had only 12 votes more than Finn Harps Under-17 player Joel Bradley-Walsh with Calvin Bradley taking 328 votes.
There was something of an upset on Sunday in the Ulster Junior Cup when the holders Aileach went down against Convoy Arsenal. Aileach, one of the Inishowen League leading contenders, were frog-marched to the exit by Convoy.
Conor Rodgers netted twice for Mickey Rodgers’ team in the 3-2 win.
Each weekly award winner will receive a kitbag, a jersey and a half-zip, supplied by O’Reilly’s.
The award winner will be chosen via a public vote from a shortlist selected by our panel.
