133 people celebrated the third anniversary of the Letterkenny Parkrun 5k in blustery conditions at the St. Conal’s Complex, Letterkenny.

115 participated in popular 5k while 18 volunteers ensured the event took place.

First male home was Donal Farren with Dermot O’ Kane second and Oisin Farren in third. Frances Judge led the females with Dara Dunne second and Cliona Moore third.

The results were not finalised but it appears Donal Farren may have reclaimed the course record.

Volunteers are needed for February 16, February 23 and March 2.

If you wish to volunteer for any of these dates please go into the Letterkenny Parkrun website, click on volunteers and open future roster.

On choosing a position please email Letterkennyhelpers@parkrun.com, advising the position you wish to fill along with event date for which you want to volunteer.

Many thanks to all the volunteers for giving of their time to aid the running of this weeks event.

Anyone participating in the February Sugar-Free programme are welcome to add to this by coming along to Letterkenny Parkrun and join all our regulars.

The Letterkenny Parkrun is free to enter with free parking for all participants and volunteers until 11am every Saturday.
