The weather conditions were a lot better for the Mini-League last weekend and it gave a good opportunity for the pairings to return higher scores. The pairing that took full advantage was Darragh O’ Connor and Kevin Tracey who shot a very impressive 43 pts. This score moved Darragh and Kevin well up the leader board and into contention to grab one of the top 16 qualifying positions. The final round of qualifying in the mini-league will take place this weekend and it’s an opportunity for pairings who didn’t get a chance to return their scores over the first two weeks due to the inclement weather to return maybe that all-important score. Find the Joker Fundraising The “Find the Joker” is up and running again with a Jackpot of €1,125.00, lines only cost €2 each and this draw is open to members and non-members alike. Lines can be purchased in the clubhouse or through chief seller Oliver Doherty. The male membership fees will increase by €17.00 after the 17th March 2019. Anyone paid in full on or before the 17th March will be exempt from this increase. Captains Drive In Mr. Brendan Murphy and Ms. Moya O’ Doherty will host their joint Captains Tee Off this Sunday 3rd March @ 2:00 p.m. sharp. The Captains Tee Off will be followed by a 9 hole teams of 4 mixed scramble with refreshments afterwards in the clubhouse and names are now being taken.
