McGinley wins Convoy AC 50 – see all the results here

Letterkenny AC’s Eoghain McGinley was the winner of today’s Convoy AC 10k.

McGinley’s 31 minutes and 45 seconds saw him take the win from Finn Valley AC’s James McFadden (33:17) and Finn Valley’s Mark McPaul (33:23).

Nakita Burke continued her excellent form of late by winning the women’s race in 36:08, seeing off Claire McGuigan from Lifford-Strabane AC (36:39).

Author of 'Boxing In Donegal: A History (2021)' - the definitive history of the sport in County Donegal - and 'Relentless: A Race Through Time', the 2019 memoir of former Irish Athletics Team Manager Patsy McGonagle. From St Johnston and now based in Letterkenny, Chris was a nominee for NUJ Sports Journalist of the Year in 2010. Honoured by the Donegal Boxing Board in 2016 for his coverage on the sport.
