Water outage strikes villages in North Donegal

An unexpected water outage is affecting homes, businesses and farms in North Donegal this Thursday morning.

A burst water main is reported in Gortahork, while properties in Falcarragh and surrounding areas are also without water.

Irish Water crews are currently working on the fault in Gortahork. It is expected that supplies will be restored by 5pm this evening.

Meanwhile, the Falcarragh fault remains under investigation.
