Super weekend for Richard Kerr in Silverstone

Kilmacrennan’s Richard Kerr had an excellent weekend at the opening round of the Dickies Supersport BSB championship at Silverstone.

Kerr had a fantastic 7th place in yesterday’s sprint race and followed that up today with another top finish claiming 8th position.

A fantastic way to open his 2019 account after missing valuable track time after a fall in Spain last month on the opening day of testing put the young Kilmacrennan man out of action for a few weeks when he injured his wrist and back.

It was Kerr’s best results to date in his second season in the Supersport class, which is without doubt one of the most competitive classes there is in probably the best national series there is right now.

It was a great result for the team and for Richard who turned 19 yesterday.

The team now head to Oulton Park in two weeks’ time where Richard will be hoping to get another strong run.
