Oisin Orr bags 20/1 winner at Listowel

Donegal jockey Oisin Orr saddled a 20/1 winner at Listowel on Sunday.

Orr rode Engles Rock to victory for Mark Michael McNiff.

Orr finished second last week in Baden-Baden, Germany in his first group two race, when he rode Imaging for Dermot Weld and got pipped by The Revenant (11/5).

At Listowel, Orr and Engles Rock had just a neck to spare on the 5/1 joint favourite, Meryems Way, ridden by Killian Leonard.

Orr was seventh at the midway point and didn’t look to be in contention before making strong progress.
