FORMER WINNER Declan Boyle is OUT of the 2019 Joule Donegal International Rally.

Boyle crashed out on SS9, Gartan, and his weekend is over.

The WRC Fiesta of Boyle, co-driven by his cousin Brian Boyle, had been on the push aiming to make up the 20 seconds he lost on the first loop of the Glen stage, SS8.

The Lettermacaward cousins were the Donegal International Rally winners in 2014.

Boyle, the 2018 Triton Showers National Rally champion, went out after going off during SS9, at a junction , just below the graveyard at Gartan Lake.

The Fiesta overturned to its roof, but neither driver or navigator are injured.
