The shutters have been pulled on one of Co Donegal’s most well-known local shops.
The premises at Illistrin ceased trading last night (Tues) after a week-long clearance sale.
Kelly’s of Illistrin – formerly Dunnes of Illistrin – has been serving the local community for decades.
The old store was famous for its country store range of goods prior to the N56 works which improved the local road in 2008.
However a modern revamp in recent times failed to save the premises.
