Dylan Browne-McMonagle, who had just returned home from Dingle races Co Kerry last Monday. had no time to rest as he was soon on the trail again two days later.

Browne-McMonagle made the daunting 15-hour round trip to Allihies Races in the West Coast of Co Cork for the traditional 15th August meeting which takes place every year on the same date.

Picture: Dylan Browne-McMonagle pictured with his final winner on the Midlands circuit when he rode Uppsala to victory in the final race at Geesela Races on Sunday for Derek McNamara, where he recorded a four timer on the day.

The National Champion is not going to give up his title to handy and was well rewarded with a good day at the office recording a treble on board Top Of The Charts Farmer Boyce and Thats Our Grouse making long spin home that little bit sweeter.

Three days later the Letterkenny rider was on his way to the beautiful beach of Geesala in Co Mayo where he again took the honours by booting home a fourtimer and was crowned Champion rider for the day.

Dylan got of the mark as Little Maine made all to take the 138cm pony race and he was quickly back in the winners circle when Five Stone Of Lead returned to her very best in the 148cm pony race giving him a double.

Baby Browne was an impressive winner of the 153cm pony race bringing up the treble and his fine day was completed as he was at his very strongest getting Uppsala home in an exciting finish in the non winners mile.

Sam Ewing another top jockey that does most of his riding in the Northwest had a day to remember when Storm Force gave him his 100th win of his career. Sam took the feature race the two mile open on Mr Bowen the former dual Dingle Derby winner.

Co Cork jockey Daniel King won the 12 furlong open aboard the evergreen Last Chance Paddy and Jake Coen gave Pack Your Bags a powerful ride to win the one mile open beating Dual Dingle Guinness mile winner Keeper Hill.

Dylan will be on the road again this weekend as he will be in action in Glenbeigh Co Kerry at the two day racing festival meeting on Saturday and Sunday.
