Richard Kerr bags podium in British Supersport at Oulton Park

KILMACRENNAN MAN Richard Kerr had his best weekend to date at the Dickies Supersport Championship this weekend.

Kerr finished Saturday’s race in sixth place but went better today and took a fantastic third position in the feature race – a great performance from the 19-year-old and he had closed the gap to four points to fourth position.

Kerr pulled a move on the last corner on the last lap to take third position for the small Campbell Motorsport team.

A fantastic result for Richard and the team.

What makes the result more remarkable is Kerr rode the second half of the race without a steering damper as it broke when the safety car was deployed.
