Kathryn McDevitt continues Donegal’s medal wins at European Masters

LETTERKENNY AC’s Kathryn McDevitt won silver with the Irish team at the European Masters Championships in Venice.

McDevitt was part of the Irish women’s team that took second in the 4x100m relay.

McDevitt, alongside Leanne Wellings, Annette Durkan and Sinead O’Regan in the W35 category, finished in 52.07 seconds.

Poland won gold with Italy in the bronze medal position.

Earlier today, Finn Valley AC’s Brian Ó Domhnaill led the way for Ireland to win a gold in the men’s 20k walk.

Tomorrow, Finn Valley AC duo Noreen Bonner and Gloria Donaghey compete in the half marathon.
