Listen: ‘We can’t take the eye off the ball’ insists Finn Harps’ Keith Cowan

IN SPITE of a six-point buffer on UCD following last night’s scoreless draw with the Students in Ballybofey, Finn Harps defender Keith Cowan says the Donegal side won’t be getting carried away.

With only three games remaining this season, Harps are now odds-on for a play-off berth.

Last night’s result keeps Harps six ahead of UCD and Ollie Horgan’s men are better off by 17 on goal difference.

“You’d have taken this at the start when there was a gap to UCD,” Cowan told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.

“We had a nice purple patch at the end of the summer and we’re in a decent position now. We can’t take our eye off the ball now.

“You can’t get carried away and you can’t take anything for grant. Ollie won’t be letting us get carried away anyway, but we just want to push on now.”
