SEAMUS Coleman has continued his move up the coaching ladder.

The Republic of Ireland captain has successfully completed his UEFA ‘B’ Licence.

Coleman was presented with his certificate by Republic of Ireland manager Mick McCarthy.

The 31-year-old Killybegs man – who has been capped 56 times for his country – has been used in a new role, on the right of a back three by recently-installed Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Colman recently made his 300th appearance for Everton and has become a fans’ favourite at Goodison Park since signing from Sligo Rovers in 2009.
