Watch: Green Party laying down their roots in Donegal

Green Party candidate Michael White said he is proud with his results in the General Election.

And the Green Party has just started laying down their roots in the Donegal constituency.

White has 2.3% of first preference votes so far.

While he will not be taking a seat this time, White says he is happy with the reaction to his party as they build their base from scratch.

“When the election was called three weeks ago we didn’t even have a bank account. We’ve come from zero and in the next election I’d be very confident that we’ll do much better,” White said.
