Cara House in Letterkenny is set to resume dinner deliveries to service users from tomorrow (Friday).

Following the fantastic success of Chef Aid Letterkenny during Covid-19, Cara House will pick up the mantle again and continue their usual service of providing dinners to older and vulnerable people in the locality.

A spokesperson said: “Our grateful thanks go to Chef Aid volunteers for their valuable work during lockdown, so appreciated by all.

“Now Cara House will resume delivering dinners to older and vulnerable people but unfortunately this service cannot be offered free. There will be a charge of €6 a day. Dinners will be delivered Monday to Friday at lunch time.

“Cara House is happy to support loved ones of people who are not now living in Donegal. We can accept PayPal payments.

“In the past a woman living in New York had dinners and groceries delivered to her father each week. It gave her such peace of mind.

“If you or your loved ones would like to avail of this service please contact 0861223029 or info@carahouse.ie. We will be pleased to help.”
