There are five less cases of Covid-19 in Donegal than previously reported by the HSE, according to new figures.
The number of people in the county who contracted the virus decreased by five in today’s health update.
There are now 472 confirmed cases in the county.
This figure stood at 477 for the past two weeks.
At times, validation of data by the Health Protection Surveillance Centre can result in cases being reassigned to another county after addresses are reviewed. Cases are then denotified from county figures.
The new 472 number for Donegal is valid up to midnight 3rd June.
Seven more deaths and 28 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed nationwide today.
