A man has pleaded guilty to two counts of sexually assaulting a female in the Inishowen area.
The man, who cannot be named, appeared at Letterkenny Circuit Court.
He was charged with two offences of sexual assault at unknown locations.
The attacks took place between January 1st, 2014 and January 21st, 2014 and also between May 1st and May, 9th 2017.
The man’s barrister, Orla Crowe, SC, asked the court to allow for a psychiatric report to be carried out on the man’s mental health.
Judge John Aylmer granted the request and also ordered a probation report and s report to determine if the man was suitable for community service.
He adjourned the case until the October court sessions.
