THE action in the Donegal ladies club championships is hotting up now ahead of key weeks across all grades.

There was another busy day of action on Sunday with games at senior, intermediate and junior levels.

Geraldine McLaughlin scored a hat-trick and Bridget Gallagher netted the other goal as senior champions Termon defeated Naomh Conaill 4-15 to 0-5 in Glenties.

Glenfin (pictured above) racked up a huge win over Buncrana. Glenfin led 2-18 to 1-1 at half-time and the An Gaeltacht Lár side pressed on in the second half to win 8-28 to 2-6.

Termon and Glenfin, last year’s finalists, now meet at The Burn Road on Sunday morning in what promises to be a titanic tussle.

In the Intermediate Championship, St Naul’s made light of an early morning journey to Carndonagh with the Mountcharles side winning 2-11 to 0-3. Eilish Ward landed seven points with Enya Gallagher and Shannon White scoring the goals.

St Naul’s

AIsling McCormack netted a goal late in the first half as Milford edged St Mary’s Convoy 1-8 to 0-8 at Pairc Naomh Muire.

St Mary’s led 0-5 to 0-0, but McCormack’s goal turned the tide and Milford were just two (0-6 to 1-1) behind at the break.

Claire Doherty scored 4-2 as St Eunan’s defeated Gaoth Dobhair 5-21 to 1-4 at O’Donnell Park. Click here for a full report of this game.
