The Magee duo overcame Debora Jille and Ties Van Der Lecq from Netherlands this evening in the round of 16.

Bronze medalists at the 2019 European Games, the Magees won their mixed doubles game after three sets, 21-14 10-21 21-13.

Tomorrow in Odense, the Magees face French pair Julien Maio and Lea Palermo.

There was no joy for Joshua Magee and Paul Reynolds who lost out 21-12 21-15 in the men’s doubles to the seventh seeds Vladimir Ivanov and Ivan Sozonoz Flag from Russia.
