RACHAEL Darragh is through to two quarter-finals at the Portuguese International.

The Raphoe woman has sealed a place in the last eight of the women’s singles and the women’s doubles.

This morning, Darragh saw off Sofia Setim from Portugal 21-17 21-12 in her opening singles match.

Darragh was a 21-11 21-10 winner against Switzerland’s Indira Dickhaeuser in this evening’s last 17 match.

The women’s doubles quarter-finals will also feature Darragh as she and Sara Boyle defeated Catarina Cristina and Catarina M Martins 21-12 21-8.

Tomorrow in Caldas da Rainha, Darragh and Boyle will meet Poland’s Dominika Kwasnik and Magdalena Swierczynska.

In the women’s singles, Darragh will face Wiktoria Dabczynska, also from Poland.
