BARRY McNamee says Finn Harps should look to build on their Premier Division survival.

Last night’s 1-0 win over Waterford at Finn Park ensures that Harps will once again play in the top flight next season.

Adam Foley’s goal gave Harps the win they needed to have a chance of avoiding the play-off spot and Shamrock Rovers’ 2-0 win over Shelbourne plunged Shels into that berth.

“It feels great,” McNamee told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.

“You’d swear the place was full with the shouting.

“We just had to look after ourselves. We had a wee speak about it at half-time, but we still had to get over the line and win the game. Hopefully we can build on this and make improvements now.”
