Nineteen more cases of Covid-19 have been detected in Donegal, the Department of Health reports this evening.
Nationally, there have been a further nine Covid-19 related deaths and 522 new cases.
Four of the newly-reported deaths occurred in March, three occurred in February, one was in January while one remains under investigation.
The average age of those who died was 82 years old, and the age range was from 69 to 94 years.
The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the Republic is now 4,405.
There are 426 Covid-19 patients in hospital, 102 of whom are being treated in intensive care. There have been 34 additional hospitalisations in the last 24 hours.
Letterkenny University Hospital has eight confirmed Covid-19 patients (as of 8pm Thursday). One patient with the virus has been recorded as critical and is in intensive care.
