FOUR Donegal athletes have been named as Ulster Athletes of the Year in their respective age groups.

Daniella Jansen (Finn Valley), Ryan Canning (Letterkenny), Shay O’Halloran (Tir Chonaill) and Harriet McCrossan (Lifford-Strabane) have been named as Athletes of the Year in their brackets.

Jansen was the winner in the U16-18 girls while McCrossan taking the U12-15 girls accolade.

Canning scooped the U16-18 boys award with O’Halloran the recipient of the U12-15 boys prize.

All four will be hoping for a return to competition soon to resume the good form shown in 2020.
