A clothing drive has been launched to support families in Direct Provision in Donegal.

The Danú Project is calling on the local community to donate baby and toddler clothing (ages up to 4 years) and nappies and wipes. All donations will be sent to babies and toddlers of asylum seekers in Donegal.

Those who donate are kindly asked to please make sure all clothing is in good condition and washed. Please label age and gender where possible.

To make a donation, please call Donegal Representative for Danú Eve Li on 0860683715.

In 2020, The Danú Project was set up to provide maternity kits and support to asylum seekers. This year the charity is starting a journey to continue supplying maternity kits with a goal of starting other projects that will be essential to the well-being and empowerment of asylum seekers. Danú have volunteers nationwide supporting asylum seekers in Direct Provision centres.
