ELEVEN countries have been removed from Ireland’s mandatory hotel quarantine list.
The Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly, made the announcement.
Now, passengers arriving from Armenia, Aruba, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Curaçao, Italy, Jordan, Kosovo, Lebanon, North Macedonia and Ukraine will no longer need to enter quarantine in a designated hotel.
The new measures came into place yesterday evening.
The Department announced that Nepal and Anguilla have been added to the list on the advice of Chef Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan.
