A Donegal lotto player was just one number away from scooping €2 million jackpot in last night’s draw.
The player and another from Meath matched 5 numbers and the bonus to share a prize fund of €38,957.
The Donegal winner purchased their ticket on Sunday 23rd May at Gallagher’s in Cotteen, Derrybeg.
The winning numbers for last night’s draw (Wednesday 26th May) were: 05, 08, 16, 22, 30, 31 and the bonus 12.
Both winners are advised to sign the back of their tickets, which are now worth €19,479 each, and keep them in a safe place.
They can contact the prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prizes.
A spokesperson for the National lottery said: “It’s been a big week for Lotto players! If you bought your Lotto ticket for last night’s draw in Donegal or Meath, it could be worth €19,479.
“We are urging all players in the Letterkenny and Dunboyne areas to check their tickets carefully today after two players shared a prize fund of €38,957.
“If you are one of these big winners, you should sign the back of your ticket and make contact with the prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for you to collect your prize.”
