A man has been hospitalised following an assault in Clonmany on Sunday last.
It’s believed that a verbal altercation took place between a man and a male driver. The driver subsequently punched the pedestrian and took off in their car.
The victim suffered non life-threatening injuries.
Gardaí are reviewing CCTV footage as they progress with investigations.
