Thief started cooking after breaking into fast food van

Gardaí are on the search for a burglar who broke into a fast food van in Downings and started cooking.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning, between 4am and 9am.

The van was parked in Downings Village when a person damaged the side door and broke in.

They proceeded to turn on the cooking equipment and stole some food contents.

Gardaí are investigating the burglary and appealing for information from the public.
